SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Shaemningwar Moyon was born in Heigrutampak village, Chandel District, Manipur. He completed his high school examination from St. Paul’s High School, Liwachangning, Manipur and obtained his H.S.S.L.C from St. Anthony’s Hr. Sec. School, Shillong. He obtained his B.Sc degree in Chemistry from St. Anthony’s College, Shillong in 2004 securing 7th Rank in the examination conducted by North Eastern Hill University. Shillong. He received his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong in 2007 and obtained his Ph.D degree in 2011 from the same university on the thesis entitled, ‘Solvatochromism and photophysical studies of alloxazine derivatives in homogeneous and macromolecular assemblies’, under the supervision of Prof. Sivaprasad Mitra.
